Mothers who had to be induced. How was your experience?

Im 36 weeks and 1 day. My first pregnancy after one miscarriage last summer. Im a High Risk patient since I underwent brain surgery (4 yrs ago) to cure my epilepsy but Im still on the meds, no longer epileptic tho. My OB wants to induce me anywhere from 39-40 weeks, if baby hasn't come out by itself yet. He wants to be the one to deliver me and make sure my vitals and everything goes smooth, he said he will give me an epidural, which I plan to take. I know labor can take up to 24 hrs or more, but How want to know about your induction experiences, what should I expect? any advice will be helpful. Thanks
